First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding tramadol to the numbing drug bupivacaine helps control pain after minor surgery. 100 adults received either bupivacaine alone or bupivacaine with tramadol during local anesthesia. Those who got the combination reported less pain, especially 24 hours later, suggesting a simple way to improve recovery and comfort.
