Summary

This small pilot study will test whether bromocriptine, a drug used for other conditions, is safe and tolerable for people with schizophrenia who also have prediabetes. The goal is to see if it can help manage blood sugar problems caused by antipsychotic medications. Fifteen adults will take bromocriptine for 6 weeks while researchers monitor their health and side effects.
