First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether bright light therapy (BLT) can help reduce depressive symptoms in adults with intellectual disabilities. Many standard treatments are hard to use for this group, but BLT is simple and has shown promise without serious side effects. The study will involve about 105 participants, including patients and staff, and will focus on how well BLT can be put into practice in two care organizations.
