Summary
This study tested a short counseling program called Acceptance-Based Behavior Therapy (ABBT) to help people newly diagnosed with HIV stay connected to medical care. The goal was to see if this approach could improve clinic attendance and lower the amount of virus in the blood. The study enrolled 38 adults with HIV who were starting care for the first time.
