New hope for rare skin lymphoma: drug after transplant may stop cancer return

Summary
This study tests whether giving brentuximab vedotin after a stem cell transplant can prevent early relapse in people with advanced cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). About 84 adults aged 18-70 with CD30-positive mycosis fungoides who have had at least one prior treatment and are in remission after transplant will be randomly assigned to receive the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if this approach improves progression-free survival compared to waiting until relapse occurs.
