Can a drug duo outsmart a rare skin cancer?
NCT ID NCT07754890
First seen Aug 10, 2026 · Last updated Aug 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This trial is testing whether combining two drugs, golidocitinib and chidamide, can shrink tumors in people with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a rare type of cancer that affects the skin. The study includes adults with CTCL that has not improved or has returned after at least one prior systemic treatment. The goal is to find the best dose and see how many patients respond, while also tracking safety and how long any benefit lasts.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- golidocitinib combined with chidamide
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this combination could offer a new treatment option for people with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma whose disease has stopped responding to standard therapies.
- What could go wrong
- This is an early-phase study with a small number of participants, so the treatment may not prove effective or safe enough for wider use. Side effects are possible, and results may not apply to all patients.
