Summary

This study looks at whether adding special breathing exercises (Pilates or diaphragmatic breathing) to regular treadmill walking can help people with pre-hypertension lower their blood pressure, improve lung function, and feel better. About 45 adults aged 20-55 with slightly high blood pressure will be split into three groups and followed for 6 weeks. The goal is to find simple lifestyle changes that may prevent full-blown high blood pressure.
