First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special coated mesh can lower the risk of implant shifting or poking through the skin after breast reconstruction. One hundred women with breast cancer will receive the mesh along with a breast implant in a single surgery. The goal is to see if this approach leads to fewer complications like fluid buildup or scarring.
