First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special coated mesh can lower the chance of complications, like the implant moving out of place, after breast reconstruction surgery. It involves 100 women with breast cancer who are getting a breast implant placed under the chest muscle in a single surgery. The goal is to see if this mesh makes the surgery safer and reduces the need for extra procedures.
