First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks back at over 1,000 women who had breast-conserving surgery for early breast cancer that couldn't be felt. It compares four methods (wire, radioactive seed, magnetic seed, and carbon dye) used to locate the tumor during surgery. The goal is to see which technique helps surgeons remove the cancer completely while leaving healthy tissue behind.
