New combo attack on spreading breast cancer

Summary
This early-stage study aims to find the safest and most effective dose of the drug abemaciclib when given alongside radiation therapy to treat bone metastases in people with advanced, hormone-sensitive breast cancer. The study will enroll 28 adults whose cancer has spread and who are already taking hormone therapy. Researchers want to see if combining these treatments can better control the cancer that has spread to the bones.
