New Light-Based scanner could help predict chemo success in breast cancer

NCT ID NCT06744465

Summary

This study is testing whether a new optical imaging device called NearWave can monitor breast cancer patients during chemotherapy and predict whether their treatment will be successful. The device uses light to measure changes in breast tissue while patients receive chemotherapy before surgery. Researchers want to see if the device collects high-quality data that could help doctors understand treatment effectiveness earlier.
