New study aims to reduce repeat breast cancer surgeries

NCT ID NCT05825482

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods for removing early-stage breast cancer. Researchers want to see if using a special localization device can help surgeons remove less healthy tissue while still getting all the cancer. The study will measure how often patients need repeat surgeries and how satisfied they are with their results.
