New ultrasound test aims to spot breast cancer sooner
NCT ID NCT07216274
Summary
This study tested a new 3D ultrasound scan called Quantitative Transmission Imaging (QTI) to see if it could work as well as a standard MRI for breast cancer screening. It involved 26 women at high lifetime risk for breast cancer. Researchers compared the two tests to see if the QTI scan could effectively detect potential problems.
