Summary
This study tested a shorter course of radiation (hypofractionation) for women with breast cancer that has spread to lymph nodes. The goal was to see if this approach reduces long-term side effects like arm swelling (lymphedema) while still controlling cancer. About 137 women participated, and researchers tracked their arm function, pain, and cosmetic results for up to 5 years.
