New glowing dye could improve breast cancer surgery accuracy

NCT ID NCT06085274

Summary

This study is testing whether a special green dye that glows under a camera can help surgeons find lymph nodes as accurately as the current standard method during breast cancer surgery. The research involves 100 patients who have already received chemotherapy and are scheduled for lymph node removal. Researchers will compare the new dye technique to the standard approach and ask patients about their experience and recovery.
