New glowing dye could improve breast cancer surgery accuracy

NCT ID NCT06085274

Summary

This study is testing whether a special green dye that glows under a camera can find lymph nodes as accurately as the current standard method in breast cancer patients who have had chemotherapy first. During surgery, doctors will use both the new glowing dye and the standard method to compare results in 100 participants. The goal is to see if the new method works just as well while also checking safety and how patients feel about the procedure.
