First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at how breast cancer itself, before any treatment, might affect a woman's ability to preserve her eggs for future pregnancy. Researchers will compare egg quality and ovarian function between 100 women with breast cancer and healthy egg donors. The goal is to understand why cancer may reduce the number and quality of eggs retrieved, so fertility preservation can be improved.
