Summary
This study looks at why women in the Hauts-de-France region of France may wait longer to start breast cancer treatment, which could explain higher death rates there. Researchers will track 500 women recently diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, measuring delays from first symptom to treatment. Participants fill out a one-time questionnaire about their feelings, behaviors, and background, while medical records provide key dates. The goal is to find ways to speed up care and improve survival.
