Summary
This study aims to understand how brain function related to learning and memory differs in people with opioid use disorder. Researchers will use brain scans and memory tests to compare three groups: people with opioid use disorder on medication, people taking the same medication for pain, and healthy adults. The goal is to learn if adverse childhood experiences affect brain pathways involved in addiction risk.
