Summary
This study aims to understand how deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery helps improve movement and speech in people with conditions like Parkinson's disease or essential tremor. Researchers will measure brain and muscle activity in 60 patients already scheduled for the standard DBS procedure. The goal is to learn the biological mechanisms behind how the treatment works, not to test a new cure.
