Summary

This study tests whether combining a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (rTMS) with either a gut relaxant or a probiotic can better relieve diarrhea-predominant IBS symptoms. 140 adults with IBS-D will be randomly assigned to receive real or fake rTMS plus one of the two pills. The goal is to see if the combination reduces abdominal pain and diarrhea more than either treatment alone.
