Zapping pain away: brain stimulation trial offers hope for veterans
NCT ID NCT07411859
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can help reduce chronic pain when used alongside standard mental health therapy. It will involve up to 100 military service members and veterans who are already enrolled in a behavioral health program. Participants will use the tDCS device for about 20 minutes daily for two weeks to see if it improves their pain levels and quality of life.
