Zapping pain away: brain stimulation trial for veterans

NCT ID NCT07411859

Summary

This study is testing whether a safe, non-drug brain stimulation technique can help reduce chronic pain in military veterans. Up to 100 veterans receiving mental health care will use a device that delivers a mild electrical current to the brain for 20 minutes daily over two weeks. Researchers want to see if this approach, combined with standard therapy, improves pain levels and quality of life.
