Zapping the brain to ease knee pain?
NCT ID NCT02723929
Summary
This study is testing whether two types of non-invasive brain stimulation can reduce pain and improve movement in people with chronic knee osteoarthritis. Researchers are comparing real stimulation to fake (sham) stimulation in 64 participants to see if it helps. The main goal is to see if this approach can lower pain scores and reduce the need for pain medication.
