Zapping brain activity to ease chronic pain

NCT ID NCT04606095

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can reduce chronic pain in people with fibromyalgia. Researchers will compare brain activity in people with fibromyalgia to healthy volunteers, then test if targeted stimulation can change this activity and lessen pain. The goal is to see if this approach provides a new way to manage fibromyalgia symptoms.
