Summary

This study tests a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called transcranial temporal interference stimulation (TIS) aimed at the right amygdala to quickly reduce depression symptoms. Fifty adults with major depressive disorder will receive either real or sham stimulation over six weeks. Researchers will measure changes in mood, thinking, and daily function to see if the treatment is safe and effective.
