Magnetic pulses to the brain: new hope for chronic pain sufferers?
NCT ID NCT06250491
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called 'deep rTMS' can reduce pain for people with chronic neuropathic pain or fibromyalgia. 70 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real magnetic stimulation or a sham (fake) treatment over a 3-month period. The main goal is to see if the treatment provides meaningful pain relief compared to the sham by the end of the study.
