Early trial aims to boost radiation power against brain tumors

NCT ID NCT02589522

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dose of an experimental drug called berzosertib when given alongside standard whole brain radiation therapy. The goal is to see if the drug combination works better than standard care to control cancer that has spread from the lungs to the brain. The study will enroll about 15 adults with specific types of lung cancer to find the right dose for future testing.
