Glowing drug lights up deadly brain tumors for surgeons

Summary

This early study is testing a new version of a cancer drug (nivolumab) that has been made to glow. The goal is to see if this glowing drug can safely help surgeons better see and map out aggressive brain tumors during surgery. The study will involve 38 adults with high-grade glioma who are already scheduled for standard surgery.
