First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests a new method for removing fluid during dialysis in people with kidney failure. Instead of standard care, doctors will use each patient's recent blood pressure patterns to decide how much fluid to remove. The goal is to lower the risk of dangerously low blood pressure during treatment while still controlling fluid buildup. The study involves 69 veterans and will compare blood pressure changes over 4 months.
