First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at how restricting blood flow to the lower leg changes ankle awareness, balance, and muscle reaction time in healthy adults aged 18 to 40. Each person tries both a real restriction cuff and a fake one, then does tests like balancing and sensing ankle position. The goal is to understand how blood flow affects movement control, not to treat any disease.
