First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This early study tested adding a testosterone-lowering drug (degarelix) to standard chemotherapy for people with muscle-invasive bladder cancer that has testosterone receptors. Only 2 people enrolled before the study was stopped. The goal was to see if the combination could improve the chance of eliminating all cancer before bladder removal surgery.
