Heart rate training eases IBD stress in teens

Summary

This study tests a virtual group program that teaches teens with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) coping skills and heart rate biofeedback to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. About 128 participants aged 13–18 will be randomly assigned to the program or a waitlist. The goal is to see if the program improves emotional well-being and disease management.
