Shaky bike aims to steady seniors on the road
NCT ID NCT06453473
Summary
This study is testing whether a special stationary bicycle that provides gentle, unexpected shakes can improve the cycling skills of older adults. Researchers want to see if 20 short training sessions on this 'perturbation' bike help people aged 65 and over navigate a real-world cycling course more safely. The goal is to reduce the risk of bicycle accidents by specifically training balance in a controlled, safe environment.
