Summary
This study looks at how a single dose of the experimental drug BI 1291583 enters the blood in people with and without liver problems. The drug is being developed for bronchiectasis, a chronic lung disease. About 32 adults aged 18–80 will take one tablet and be monitored for about 3 months. Results will help doctors understand if liver impairment changes drug levels, ensuring safe dosing.
