First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at how well beef and plant protein help older adults (ages 65-95) build muscle, especially those who are frail or at risk. Researchers will use a new technique to measure how the body uses protein from each source. The goal is to understand which protein type is better for preventing muscle loss in aging.
