Summary
This study tested a new balance training system for people with spinal cord injuries or stroke who are at high risk of falling. The system combines a mild electrical stimulation device with a video game-like balance board to help improve stability. Researchers worked with 18 participants to see if this approach could improve balance, strength, and confidence during standing and movement.
