First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding thinking tasks (dual-task training) to balance exercises helps stroke survivors improve balance, thinking, and fear of falling. 33 adults who had a stroke and had trouble with balance and thinking took part. They did 40-minute sessions, 3 times a week for 6 weeks. The results showed that combining both types of training may offer extra benefits for balance and fall prevention.
