Summary
This early-stage study tests the safety and tolerability of a new drug called AZD4954 in healthy volunteers and people with high Lp(a) or dyslipidemia (abnormal cholesterol levels). About 136 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo to see how the body processes it and if any side effects occur. This is a Phase 1 trial, so it focuses on safety and dosing, not on treating the condition.
