Summary
This study tested whether adding atorvastatin (a common cholesterol medicine) to standard treatment can improve quality of life and reduce inflammation in adults with ulcerative colitis. 54 participants completed the trial. Researchers measured changes in bowel and emotional symptoms, as well as inflammatory markers in blood and stool.
