Can museum visits ease chronic pain? new study explores art as medicine
NCT ID NCT07048366
Summary
This study is testing whether an 8-week program combining art, mindfulness, and body awareness exercises in a university museum can help women with fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia causes widespread chronic pain, fatigue, and sleep problems. Researchers want to see if this unique, non-drug approach reduces pain and improves quality of life and coping skills compared to a control group.
