Stroke recovery boost: extra Arm-Hand training shows promise

Summary
This study tests whether adding extra arm-hand exercises to standard care helps stroke patients regain arm and hand function. Eighty people who had a stroke will be split into two groups: one gets the extra arm-hand therapy, the other gets extra leg exercises. Researchers will check arm function, independence, and quality of life up to a year later to see if the extra therapy is worth the cost.
