First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app can help people who are already on methadone treatment reduce their use of opioids and cocaine. About 240 adults who use both drugs will either get standard methadone care or also use an app that rewards them with money for drug-free tests and attending appointments. The goal is to see if the app helps them stay in treatment longer and use drugs less often.
