Summary
This study tested a web-based app designed to help people with early-stage hormone-positive breast cancer take their daily hormone therapy as prescribed. Many patients stop taking these pills due to side effects or lack of support, which can increase the risk of cancer returning. The app provided reminders, educational videos, and a way to message the care team. The study included 21 adults who had completed initial cancer treatments and recently started hormone therapy.
