First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at how a mindfulness app might help teenagers who tend to overthink (ruminate). About 158 teens aged 13-18 will be randomly assigned to use the app or a control activity. Researchers will use brain scans and smartphone surveys to see if the app changes brain connections and reduces rumination, and to figure out which teens benefit most.
