First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study was designed to find the best length of time for patients to take antibiotics after surgery for an infected joint replacement. It planned to compare different antibiotic durations to see which works best to prevent the infection from coming back and to reduce side effects and antibiotic resistance. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
