Summary

This study aimed to find the best length of time for patients to take antibiotics after surgery to clean an infected knee or hip replacement. It planned to compare different treatment durations to see which one best prevents the infection from coming back while minimizing side effects and antibiotic resistance. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
