First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study involves 50 people who need a pacemaker or defibrillator. It compares two FDA-approved methods for placing a wire in the Bachmann bundle, a part of the heart that helps coordinate beating. One method uses contrast dye and X-ray, while the other adds an electrocardiogram (ECG) to guide placement. The goal is to see which method works better for successful lead placement.
