First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a drug called Anakinra in a single patient who has severe low blood sugar after meals because his stomach was removed. The patient also has end-stage kidney disease and needs dialysis. For 6 weeks, he will randomly receive either Anakinra or a placebo, and doctors will track his blood sugar levels and symptoms to see if the drug helps prevent dangerous sugar drops.
